    Happy New Year, peeps!

Here we are, 2010. I hope everyone had a good NYE celebration; I know I didn’t. Well, it wasn’t bad, I just didn’t do anything. People went to parties or whatever but I wasn’t invited to any of them. What can you do, though?! Exactly. I don’t have any special 2010 resolutions or aims or goals, I doubt there will be much difference from this year to last. 2009 was an odd year; if you get bored you can watch my “review” here.

But yeah, a week ago it was Christmas. On the day, we got together with Mum’s side of the family & had a barbecue at my uncle’s. It wasn’t that bad of a day, but I guess we all had something to complain about. Our family isn’t necessarily “close”. On boxing day we had family friends over, which was nice. Dad decided to actually build our table tennis table (we’ve had it for a year and a half and its been half constructed for that long), so there was a lot of that going on, and has been for the past few days.

I guess the most exciting part of Christmas is the gifts! Here’s what I got:

L-R; Top: Computer Arts Magazine subscription (!!!), Avengers graphic novel,
Marvel Super Wars feat. The Human Torch & Wolverine + collectors comic, Hulk
figurine. Bottom: Super Hero Squad feat. Iron Man & Spider Woman, Galactic
Heroes feat. Storm & Rebel Troopers, Book; Sherlock Holmes, DVD’s; Public
Enemies, Wanted, Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead

I’ve watched all the DVD’s except Public Enemies, I haven’t started either book, and I haven’t opened the figurines because I have no where to put them (Dad really needs to get me more shelves). The subscription starts this month sometime (that is the Nov. issue, aka some random one I pulled out for the photo). I also got a bunch of make-up, hair care & body lotions (one set came with this tea cup which is practically a soup bowl, its BOSS) from family/family friends.

I guess Christmas & NY hasn’t been that bad this year. I guess it would have been foolish to expect some amazing experience, but I’m really happy with my gifts and I’m definitely spoilt. Anyways, how was your Christmas/Holidays/New Years?

I didn’t do anything for NYE either, lol, not much of a drinker and it was too hot for socialising anyway.

Yay for gifts! I love the Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead combo! Two of my favourite movies ever, haha.

Anyway, lets hope our 2010 is more exciting than New Year itself, haha.

Yesss, the Winter Olympics are this year! Here in Canada! I might get to go and see the Olympic torch, too (:

Aha, I don’t think I’ve ever spent a New Year out with friends! I’m always in with family, haha! Don’t worry about not partying :’)

PS: I want that tea cup :D I?TEA!

I’m not a Christmas & New Year fan, as you well know. But this year was surprisingly good! Christmas Day was really good and I didn’t get a single useless crappy LOL toy, which was a relief because I own too much shit lmao.
But I’m very happy with life now. :) And you got some cracking films.

    LOVEYOU! <3

I didn’t do anything for NYE too, except for sleeping and bumming around, lmfao. I’ve been doing that for the past 18 NYE, so it’s hard to break the tradition, pmsl.

But I’m very jealous with the amount of gifts you get. Why can’t Eid be like Christmas in terms of the presents part. Lol.

Anyways, happy new years, love! I hope 2010 will be a magnificent one for all of us! :D

Oh my! Your Christmas gifts are absolutely perfect! Comics, Star Wars…it doesn’t get much better. I love, love your layout, btw. I found you from Jenn’s site (I’m Erin from littlewicked.org trying to branch out and transfer over to a new domain). I’ll definitely be a regular visitor. Take care!
