Song: Undercover Martyn – Two Door Cinema Club

I just came back from a ridiculously long dinner with my brothers friend’s family, who I don’t really like or whatever, so I’m rather tired, so this will be interesting.

School is now in full swing, as is the gossip and bitching and so on. You can’t escape it, really. I don’t know, I don’t really have anything interesting to say about school, but really its the only interesting thing that’s happened this week. This week has been so slow and boring and yeah. I seriously have so little going on in my mind about the past week.

Oh yeah, that’s right, we had school photos. Now, I’m not sure what the hell I looked like, so it could be interesting to see, but I doubt it. School photos are designed to make you look bad. Its like law; you can’t look good no matter how hard you try. I have no idea when we’re getting them back, but I can tell you I’m not looking forward to it.

I’ve been trying to get back into reading now that school’s starting up, I’ve started Handling the Undead by John Ajvide Lindqvist (Let The Right One In) and only got like, less than a few chapters in, and then we got a novel to read for English class, which sucks (I hate when that happens – you start a novel then have to drop it to get class reading done). Its Henry James’ Turn of the Screw (which I keep on calling in my mind ‘the Taming of the Shrew’, damn you, Shakespeare!), so its not like its bad or whatever, just annoying. Still, could be worse. Apparently ‘Twilight‘ may be on the reading list for Gender Studies. Not going to diss the book out of respect for those who like it, but… really? And not Potter? Surely Hermione is a tad more interesting, being all ‘GIRL POWER!’ and that. But hey, I don’t run to coarse, or do it for that matter.

I’m worried about not having anything to say. I don’t want to turn this into a Skins blog every week, but it airs on the day I blog so I’m thinking about it a lot. Oh well, I’ll talk about it anyway. Spoilers. You know the drill. OMGTONIGHTSWASSOGOOD. I love Emily, so its great that it was about her, but I think she’ll be a bit more annoying this season. She was so endearing when she was a doormat. But still. Naomi. Gorgeous as hell, but WHATWASSHETHINKING! I mean, I love Naomi’s poison, it creates drama and everything, but poor Ems! I loved James (Fitch, not Cook), dressed in Katie’s clothes. I actually wish there was more Katie in this series, she’s only had like, 3 appearances so far. Also, COOKWTFWHYYOUHITONJJ?!?!? I love Cook more, but JJ did nothing man! And Effie, being all HBIC. I think she’s getting a bit of the ~mystery and ~coolness from the first season. She’d lost that completely last season, and now she’s being all ~all of a sudden in a chair~ and such. I wish she’d cut talking though. Mutes are cool.

/skins spam.

I need a shower. Goodnight.

I did a semesters worth of work on Gender studies, and I can tell ya, “Twilight” crap as it it, will be quite topical! Particularly since Bella represents the useless unmarried female.

Anyway, I’m not going to read the “Skins” paragraph, haven’t watched it yet! Its downloaded and all, think I’ll watch later tonight haha.

Sorry for the double comments– I feel its important.

Firstly, great episode!! Secondly, why was Freddie eating chips with a flippin’ fork?! LOL.

Did you see the end preview to Cooks ep? He kisses Naomi, at least I think its her, if so… OMG! LOL.

I’m crazy.

The end!

i totally feel you. school drama and bitching makes me want to shoot the people at my school. it’s not the guys, it’s the girls who cause all of the drama (no offense. ;P)

Ugh, school photos are never fun. I think it’s the lighting or something that makes them ALL look horrible. Why do they do this to us? :)
Twilight instead of Harry Potter? Yeah, that’s bogus. Especially for a school project. Bella is just whiney. :D

if twilight was required to be read in my class i would refuse and just not do it at all.

I hope this title of the blog is referring to Passion Pit. If it is, I’m so proud of you.

ANYWAYS.
School pictures are the worst. I’ve just stopped trying to look good for them. Waste of time.

I HATE when school reading gets in the way of my free-time reading. Half of the books we read are just stupid and not interesting at all. There’s no excitement what-so-ever.

Love, Elisa
