Song: Xtatic Truth – Crystal Fighters

I’m meant to be at Jess’ birthday dinner right now. But I’m not. I’ll get to that.

Anyway, on Monday I got a new monitor. Its 24″. Its MASSIVE. This is a snap-shot Tumblr, as seen by me on this screen. The to-scale image was too big to be uploaded on TINYPIC. That’s saying something. I’m getting used to it, though. The contrast settings & such are a little different, so if my layouts & such change, you’ll know why.

What else? Wednesday was my school’s sports carnival. For those who don’t know, its basically a day where our school packs up its gear and heads off to the pool, hosting a range of aquatic races, best dressed (in house colours/themed outfits) competitions and cheer competitions. This year wasn’t actually that bad – we made our own fun. Christine (who’s aqua-phobic) & I didn’t swim (never have, never will), but we did go in best dressed – despite not being dressed up. We photo bombed the photos. It was amazing. We also helped my house (Christine isn’t even IN mine, but she stuck with us lmao) with the cheers – by raving up at the front while they did their cheers. Naturally we came last in the cheers, pmsl. I don’t care, my dancing is amazing. Its all I did. All day. Killer moves. Awesome. Told Mr C. it was all I was good at. Probably true.

What else? Yeah, I got pretty badly sunburnt at the pool. Well, no, not badly actually. Just average. But its been bad afterwards. See, I burnt my face (forehead, nose & cheeks a little) but it was all ok and recovering and stuff. Nothing big, nothing bad. No peeling. Nothing. But still, seeing as today was SO hot (about 38°C/100°F), it got all inflamed and irritated again. Basically, I was sitting on the new area at school like always (its kind of under this tree, but seeing as the tree is pretty high up, the shade is really patchy. But people in “my group” can be dominating bitches and make us sit there because its “nicer”) and then all of a sudden Belle’s like, ‘Holy Lord, your forehead is swollen!’ Scary, right? Being so close to the brain and all. So I went home & to the doctors and she basically said that it was inflamed sunburn and because of the heat and everything, it just all swelled up. Nothing big. Which is good. Still, mental. So yes, that is why I’m not with Jess as I’m meant to. But as I’ve probably mentioned, “my group” is complicated and I’m hoping us un-cool rejects (or as we’re made to feel, anyway) revolt soon. Or I may just explode.

Also, I look like an Na’vi with this swelling. Its right in between my eyes, making me look like Jake Sully’s avatar. I keep doing the ‘I see you’ thing to Mum. I have too much dorky fun sometimes.

Nothing new has been up. How lame. It feels like I’ve had a really busy week, but when I think about it, I haven’t. I’ve got fanlistings to make. New layouts to do. Art. I really want to be an artist this year. I want to create. I want to be amazing. I want a talent. Something really struck me this week (its really lame so I won’t say what) and I’m like, ‘what am I doing with all this?!’ Heaps of self-confidence things have also been up all week, but I think thats just PMS and I usually just keep it to myself.

GAH blog is getting too personal. Running away.

(Also, last nights Skins was incredible. I love Cook. The end)

Oh yay, you made the comment box bigger! Hahaha. Now I can comment more without forgetting what I’d typed earlier… if that makes sense.

Yay for the bigger monitor! mine’s pretty huge too, it’s awesome innit? I remember when I first got my monitor, I made such fat arse layouts, hahaha. Totally forgot about my visitors.

I love Sports Carnivals! I remember going to them during high school; a lot of bumming around and watching people either swim or run around the tracks. Ouch on the sun burnt! I’ve never been burnt before, so I honestly can’t say I know how you feel :(

Anyway, onto more important things, SKINS. Seriously, I was freakin’ waiting for you to update so I can discuss it with thee lmao. Anyhoot, freakin’ loved it! I love Cook, but this just made me love him even moooooore. The Naomi thing was so misleading… I was hoping for a full-blown-in-your-face-Emily relationship, haha. Oh, I totally teared up too… *sigh*

Oh really? I LOVE modcloth. :) I want to buy more stuff from there.
Yay for a new monitor! One of our school labs just got all new widescreen monitors, and they’re HUGE.
Sucks about the burn! I always get burned on my nose and cheeks on vacation.

Your monitor is nothing short of LUDICROUS! Yes, you heard. And no, I’m not taking it back.

Photo bombing for the win. For the ULTIMATE win, you have to go to an epic tourist spot & ruin foreign tourists who aren’t going to get another chance at taking that photo for YEARS’ photos. I recommend Buckingham Palace. Matt & I did that once. Was AMAZING.

    Loveyouhotstuff. Get well soon xxx

WHOAH YOU HAVE AN ELISA MONITOR. hahah my monitor is just like that, the contrast drives me nutz sometimes…I always yell at my screen for fooling me with coloring changes *shakes fist*

God, I wish I could throw down some moves with you. We should be dancers. Dance by day, and be artists by night and paint and all that jazz. That’d be fantastic. Oh man. Please, can we do this?! PLEASE?!

Please don’t burn your face off. That’d be pretty bad.

    loveyougirl.
