Sometimes I feel like a failure at life because I can’t whistle.
Stuff has happened this week. Like, for instance, I did my geography presentation about population statistics in Latvia, which I got full marks for. That was great. I also handed in my art theory assignment, AND had an art theory test today. Not sure on how I went, but I know that art theory is out of the way now. That’s good. Today was also the day our school did the whole Worlds Greatest Shave thing. Basically its when people shave their head to raise money for cancer research. Christine shaved her head and got herself a PRETTY COOL moehawk. It really suits her, and she loves it, which is great.
Outside of school, though, things have been brilliant. On Saturday I went out on my date with Dillan. We went and saw the Hurt Locker, which is actually THAT GOOD of a film and totally deserves those Oscars. I mean, sure, it was essentially plotless, but I really liked it. The suspense and explosions and the characters (Thompson made me laugh a lot, even if he wasn’t in it much. And Specialist reminded me of McGee from NCIS, who is amazing so that was cool. And surprise!Ralph Fiennes was great. Any Ralph Fiennes is great) and all that made for a pretty cool film.
But moving away from the film, though, Saturday was actually a really nice date and Dillan is an absolute sweetheart, so I really enjoyed myself. I saw him again on Monday after school, and on Wednesday. We’re going out again tomorrow. I actually really like this guy, so. So yeah. Yeah. I have a boyfriend now. Its so strange. I mean, none of it feels like its me. I’ve never ever ever imagined I’d get a boyfriend (let alone this year!), so it’s just all so strange. I don’t know. I’m considerably happy about this, so.
What else? Skins was intense. I won’t spoil it – BECAUSE THERE IS SUCH A BIG SPOILER OMG – but yeah, wow. Cook is a legend, again, saving the day as usual.
Life is actually getting busy now, and its like all of a sudden everyone needs/wants me to be around. Dads’s more keen than ever to make me work for him, people at school all of a sudden think I’m cool (~boy approved, or whatever bullshit), Christine wants to go to places (with other friends too), I’ve got Dillan (who I genuinely want to see, though, so)… plus school. Which is getting more demanding, but manageable. Nothing out of my depth. I don’t know. Shit just gets busy.
AND I’ve got 3 2 fanlistings to build. I’ve done two, and got 2 more after that. Bloody hell, right?

As for SKINS, I haven’t seen is cos SkisBrasil has been shut doooown! But someones uploaded the .avi on LJ, so I’m downloading it rigggght now! I don’t give a hoot about Effy, but since you’ve said Cooks saves the day, I am SO looking forward to it, haha.
I’m so lazy with my fanlistings. I only update my Ben Barnes one once a month, and I end up getting e-mails ‘are you going to update that shit? I joined two weeks ago!”, some people, seriously.
Anyway, I hope it doesn’t get too hectic for you!!

So, I finally watched Skins, and all I can say is: OMFG
The episode seemed pretty intense, but the ending was SUCH a shock for me. I knew from Twitter that he dies, but effin’ goodness, I had no idea he was going to die LIKE THAT. It felt like I was watching a thriller or something, Jesus Christ… Like you, not too fond of the Fredster, but hell… what a way to go! I’m still in shock, lmao.
Next episode is going to be insane.
Oh, and how lovely is Cook? I know he saves almost every episode, I’m quite certain we can say he saves the entire season, lmao.

Unfortunately I live in a shit hole town so The Hurt Locker never got released in the cinema here. Thinking of taking a trip to Melbourne just to see it though. I hope everything is going well with this new boyfriend
And skins. Just wow. Not much more that I can say to that. My mind is blown. So keen for next weeks episode already!

i know how you feel!! everyday is a stretch for me because I’m a full time student and i work full time. So I have to go home from school, do my homework, take a shower, brush my teeth, and get ready, and then go to work, in only a two hour time spand! then to top it all off, I have a dentist app on monday, and this upcoming week is my school’s ogt week, so we get to go in later than usual (by three hours! ) but then I leave later than usual (by an hour!) so that two hour time spand for the rest of the week is now down to an hour! god, why does life have to be so hectic!
i hear the hurt locker is really fantastic. I saw avatar saturday (the directors of avatar and the hurt locker were once married) so that’s weird that you saw the wife’s movie, and i saw the husbands.
