Song: In The Shadows – Story of the Year

Today is Good Friday. Its also the first day of my school holidays. Its pretty darn awesome. For the next 2 weeks, we don’t need to wake up at 6:30 and we don’t need to have the same lunches at school over and over. Its exciting, ok?

The rest of the week has been kind of dull. Lots of rain, which is nice – it almost reminds me of winter. Saw Dillan a few times, had to buy new jeans yesterday (I hate my new ones, just so you know. But I think that’s mainly because they’re not my old ones), so we went to the shopping place near my school, and amazingly happened to run into everyone I knew, which was weird because its all “naw, its Cass & Dillan” and I’m like… “hm yeah *runs away*” lmao.

Pointless story is pointless.

So how did I spend the first day of my school holidays? Cleaning, mostly. I did briefly play the Sims 3, but mainly just cleaned. I went through my wardrobe and managed to throw out half of my clothes. So now I have like, one pair of jeans, a few t-shirts, a few jackets and my school uniform. Needless to say, I’m not happy about it. I’m currently going through what I’ve called ‘Poor-man’s Woe‘. I desperately need new clothes, but there aren’t any local stores which sell the clothes I like. Seriously, currently its all tank-tops and floral skirts and its just not me. So if I wanted clothes, I’d need to go online. And that costs a lot. I foolishly made the mistake of looking at ASOS today, and now have impossibly high standards. These are a few of my current clothing-needs.

I haven’t totalled up the cost or anything, so I probably would never ever buy any of these. I wouldn’t have the money and my parent’s wouldn’t buy them for me – shipping + everything would equal A LOT and just to put me in cloth? Essentially clothes are so silly, but pretty.

This blog is so going nowhere. I don’t think I’m thinking of much anyway. I’m actually stressing about clothes for tomorrow (I never ever worry about it, mind) – I’m going to the Easter Show with Dillan, and have nothing to wear. Its at the point of I either look even more like a boy than him, or go naked. Its bad. Then there is the matter of a freaking bag – I actually do not own a single one and I know I’ll need one for practicalities sake. FFS, life. Why can’t we all just have nice things?
