    i’m outta time

    Song: The Highway – Rancid

I have nearly fallen asleep, while walking home, about 4 times today. What the hell, Cassie, thats silly.

So how has my week been? Pretty good. On Saturday I dragged Dillan to see Kick Ass with me, which I adored. Hit Girl is my freaking hero and I would do ANYTHING to be as awesome as she is. It was so unrealistically realistic and I loved every second of the film. Except for, perhaps, the beginning, which was awkward (if you’ve seen the film, you’d know what I mean). I even bought the comic after, too. The comic is so different. I mean, yeah there are a lot of parts which were EXACTLY like the film (i.e. mainly the beginning parts), but the ending was way different and some characters (namely Big Daddy) were just completely different people. I think I kind of like the film a bit more because its a bit more action-y than the comics.

I don’t remember Sunday. Monday Dillan dragged me to see Clash of the Titans which was actually a lot better than I was anticipating. I’m not normally one for Greek Mythology in films, but this was kind of ok. Kaya Scodelario was gorgeous as ever, and I’m proper amazed at how often she was in the film – I wasn’t expecting her to be in it that much at all.

What else? I did more film watching on Wednesday with Dillan (wow, I do a lot of film related things with him. Only just noticed), and I finally watched Public Enemies (I got the DVD for Christmas and only JUST watched it) which was, well, it was a good film and that, but its one of those films that you have to concentrate a lot on and I kept sitting there being like “that accent is weird” and making ridiculous mental comments like that. Because I mean honestly, those accents were strange.

What else? Whenever I’m not doing stuff with people I’ve been trying to do school work. Managed to do all of my Geography assignment in one day, that’s strange. Didn’t know I could work like that, pmsl. Though for English we have to do a creative writing piece, which is killing me. Its not just ‘write a story’, its ‘write a story and choose elements from two completely different txts and then link them and explain those links and do more bollocks like that’. Yeah, /rant.

Today was fun, though. Hung out with Melanie, Chris[tine] and Belle. We all went to the city and got lunch and had a little picnic which was cool. We then went to China Town and all the photobooths & stuff there. IDGAF I like photobooths. We also went to the markets a little, which was fun. We saw SO MANY people with dreadlocks today. Must have been like, 10, no joke. All the dreads came out to play. It was COOL. Also saw an ex-contestant from Australian Idol, which was… interesting.

Holidays are nearly over. We’ve got the weekend, and then one day and then school again. Honestly I’m more dreading seeing some people than I am school work & stuff. That I can kind of deal with. People I just can’t. Sometimes I really hate being in an all-girl school because a lot of the time, girls piss me off. People piss me off a lot, but thats not the point, pmsl.

Whatever. I’m going to remain cheerful. Life is active and I have a cool boyfriend and I’ve lost 3kg and have a BMI under 20 now and an AWESOME denim vest, so I’m going to be cheerful now.

I haven’t seen “Kick-Ass” but when I saw the trailer my initial reaction was “OMG, Hit-Girl is friggin’ cool!” lmao. But have you heard all about the media criticising her violent/young role? Hmm.

You’re right about “Public Enemy”. It requires concentrating and thinking. So, when I watched it, I was bored to death. And yes, the accent… Hahaha.

    Aw, I wanna lose 3kg :(

I’ve wanted to see Kick Ass for ages. I might buy it on DVD when it comes out. :’) Glad to hear you liked it though.
I hate english assignments like that, and it’s the same in my exams. :| Arrgh. It makes me think about whether I should take Enligh LangLit next year or not. I go to an All Girls school too, and I know what you mean when you say girls piss me off. It’s so bitchy lol! Ah well, the boys school is just across the road. ;) haha.

HIT GIRL! I just saw Kick Ass just now. I think it’s epic. I mean. I loved the music they played in the background during the action-y scenes, haha. the middle part and towards the end of the movie were awesome. I want to be like Hit Girl. *nods*

I don’t like Clash of the Titans. At all. I thought the storyline sucked. But Sam Worthington = love. That is all. Haha

I need to see Kick Ass. It came out yesterday. I will see it, I will Cassie.

Clash of the Titans just looks boring. Everyone is freaking out about it here..I just don’t have an interest in it.

Please start working out with me.
God knows I need to lose weight.

I went to see Public Enemies at the movies with my mum (for no reason other than we love Johnny) and loved it. It was so interesting.

Where’d you buy the Kick-Ass comic? I’ve been looking but haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Probably because my town suuuucks but I might have to check out Melbourne.

How is falling asleep while walking even possible?

I like how you hated Hit Girl last week when she was in a photo with Rupert Grint pmsl, but now she’s your hero. ;)

We saw the trailer for Clash of the Titans when we went to see Sherlock Holmes and it looked fine. It went “TITANS WILL CLASH!” and then went “Clash of the Titans”, so we were like “that looks shite; they couldn’t even put effort into a good tagline” pmsl. Plus yeah, I don’t like that type of film either. Like 300 and things…not for me.
I did go see The Ghost on Friday and actually, it was awesome. However, the ending was irritating pmsl.

It took me months to watch Public Enemies too, and I never got the whole way through. Rach & I watched it and it bored the pants off us.

That English piece sounds fun! I wish I still got to do badass stuff like that.

“All the dreads came out to play” is one of the best sentences ever.

I salute you for putting up with an all-girl school cos it’d kill me pmsl.

    Awesome for cheerfulness. :)

    Loveyou<3

BAHHH IRONMAN! Oh my God, I think I love you now. lmao You’re GOD. Expect to see yourself among my exits when I get them up and running. haha

Wowza I wanna see Kick Ass so bad! I read amazing reviews, and now yours fits along with that category as well. So yes, I’m so there. I just need to get some money together. =P I cant wait!

    Love, Candy
