    Song: Consolation Prizes – Phoenix

I am so not in the mood for owning fansites any more. Lord.

So school’s back. This isn’t fun. Course work has been ok, haven’t really done a lot, but people just annoy me a lot. I mean, they literally will come to where we sit, drop their bags and folders and stuff, and then leave to sit like, 3 metres away. I mean, what is the POINT?! Christine, Melanie and I are not in this group to mind your bags. Christ.

Today was cool, though. We had a Geography field study, so we went to Olympic Park and the wetlands there. We did a lot of work on the mangroves, did some soil tests and creek water testing and cool stuff like that. I’m not actually that big of a fan of physical geography (more of a human geography kind of person, y’know, stuff like population and urbanisation and things) so the day was a little too sciency but still really fun. I like how our class just really get along and we all just have fun together. I don’t know. Good harmony in a class actually really does help.

Nothing else exciting has been going on. Had a boring weekend involving a lot of work (about 4-5 hours on both Saturday and Sunday), which I didn’t like at all. Dad freaked out when I went $15 over my phone bill, but then calmed down after I worked for him for ages. Saw Dillan Monday afternoon (he had school, hahahaha) and Wednesday. That was cool. Um, yeah. Haven’t gotten ANYWHERE with my English story. I currently have two starts, one from third person basically explaining this guys existence so far, and another is a first person monologue, essentially. The second one is a bit more engaging, and establishes my theme a bit more, but I never like writing in first person so I am stuck. Even though it does sound like I’m more attached to the second idea. But I don’t even have a plot. I have a basic idea (its about Chernobyl and (because its got to be Gothic) will somehow involve houses being living creatures) but its so hard to do in 1200 words. Because I’m not a big ‘and then, and then, and then’ writer (or thinker), I’m more of a ‘lets ramble on about insignificant details which I think makes things oddly beautiful’ writer. I don’t know.

I totally had the wierdest moment ever today. I saw this on a magazine cover. I mean, yes it was done FOR Crysis 2 and yes it was a gaming magazine, but its always so odd seeing art from DA in real life. Its kind of a cold reminder that what you do, what you’re good at, can get you places. DA & other media uploading sites can get you places. Its weird to think about it.

I really feel like going magazine hunting and coffee drinking and scarf shopping.

This blog is going nowhere. I’ll just shut up and leave the Wild Target trailer here. SO excited.

anywhoo. woah! that trip to olympic park sounds fun! i was never too much into science. i dont know why. you must be so clever!!
$15 over your phone bill? try going $65 over = $130 phone bill. lol.

anywhoo… dont worry about those other people, if they treat you like crap then theyre not worthy of being in your life, you deserve alot better than that, and all they will do is just bring you down. tell them to take care of their own belongings! :)

Your blogs are always way more interesting than mine. It’s depressing.

We’ve been through the stuff I feel about geography before so I won’t bother pmsl. But yeah. And I go over my phone bill every time I text you lmao. Or when I called you from the one Green Day gig last October. The one in London. Yeah, dialling England to Australia, mobile to mobile, for like 10 minutes….not my best plan.

I found geography a bit meh in school. I don’t think they taught it us very well, so I dropped it once I started my GCSEs *don’t kill me* :3 .
Aw man, I hate work. I’ve got even more graphics to do and my art and french and *explodes*. :(
I’m not much of a story writer. But some reason I’m studying English LangLit next year. eh. D: x

School sucks. I can’t stress that any more.

I’ll go magazine hunting and coffee drinking and scarf shopping with you, because that actually sounds really nice right now.

I still don’t understand how to text you. fail.

Aw it’s always really good to have a class that just get along really well like that. I like boys better than girls and in year 10 I was in a woodwork class where I was the only girl and everyone just got along and helped each other out, there was all these different guys that don’t normally hang out together but we just all came together in the class. I miss school :(

I can’t explain how excited I am to see Wild Target.

    Love, Kayla
