    big green monsters

    Red Hot Moon – Rancid

That Tic Tac tasted like wine. It was honestly the strangest moment of my life.

These past few days have been incredibly odd. A lot of “firsts”. And no, not those firsts, but things like ‘first time on a plane’ and ‘first time out of the state’. That kind of thing. Yeah, my family & I went to Melbourne for the Digital Life Expo. We flew down on Thursday (also happened to be Dillan’s birthday. That was brilliant. /sarcasm), got there, and went straight to the DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) there. Got a pretty nice Charlie Brown dress there. Friday we saw the show for a bit while Mum & Dad worked (that’s why we went down there, because of their business) & relaxed. Saturday Dad took us walking around the city (which could’ve been fun, if Dad wasn’t such a tourist. I mean, yeah sure, its a fancy library… but essentially, its just a library. Nothing extra special, we have one in our own suburb) & had room service (the best bacon & chicken burger of my life). Sunday (today) we visited the show again & came home. And now I’m here freezing my arse off and putting off unpacking.

But all in all, it was pretty nice. Everything was rather pleasant. I mean, not necessarily the most interesting experience for Jeremy & I (a lot of hotel waiting) but I appreciate it none the less. It’d be better if it didn’t fall on the week of both Dillan and Lilli’s birthdays. But I’m home now and I’ve never been more excited to be back. Can’t wait for a proper nights sleep. And to use nice shampoo.

Other than that, it was a pretty stressful week. School’s starting to go into evil-ruler-mode, which kind of kills. Rather large English assessment on Othello this Thursday which I spent a lot of the hours cooped up in the hotel studying for. Wish me luck! But luckily only less than a month left until the next holidays. And Supanova is in two weeks, which I’m quite excited about! I think I’m going with Dillan and a few of his mates – which is cool I guess, but its always awkward when there are like 6 guys (5 of which you don’t know at all) and me. But I should hopefully be dragging Belle along with me, which’ll be great. She adores Spider Man so it’ll be GREAT for her to go. I still need to have the year where I epic cosplay up Supanova, I would totally go as Hit Girl (Kick Ass) – but the comic form because the film version belongs to Chloe Moretz.

Speaking of Kick Ass, I need to put a new layout up here.

I also need that Hit Girl poster. On Tuesday, Dillan and I went to this poster place and my GOD it was a great shop. I seriously hate being so poor right now because the amount I could have bought… insane. (I actually think I’m getting rather good at this ‘poor management’ business – even though I still lust over everything I see, I’m not showing it as much [I hope], nor acting on it.) I also ran into Emma which was weird – she changed schools this year so I hadn’t seen her, but then randomly did. Weird life.

Clearly my mind is all over the place and I need order and routine again. Or maybe just a long bath. Either one.

Also, everyone go here & vote for Tran!

Goodness, I haven’t had tic-tacs since forever, haha. Wine, hmmm… not too sure if that’s a good thing or not.

You came down to Melbourne?! I live there dude! I don’t know why people shop when they come to Melbourne though, hahaha. We’re not a very exciting city I’m afraid :\

And THANKS for the linkage to the myOE, haha. There’s another round of voting which I’m praying to win (it’s a group vote). And you needn’t my individual vote… The guy in the lead has almost 1000 votes, hahaha.

    Thanks again!

PS. If you vote in the second round (starts on the 8th) I will love you forever, lmao.

I enjoyed Melbourne. It was fun.

You & your comics… nerd ;) Just kidding, darling. <3

Good luck with Othello. I'd do it for you but it's one of the few Shakespeare plays I've never studied pmsl.

    Loveyouxx

    Lmao, at the “firsts”.
And Tic Tacs that taste like wine. Hmmm, I probably wouldn’t have gotten my $200 for my next birthday. Which was June 1st, btw, so I’d have a long ways to go, I’m guessing. Years go by so fast, don’t they?
And the view from the hotel looks mighty gorgeous!
I can’t wait to visit there someday. Maybe we should kick it?
Idk, random stuff coming to my head.
And totally, Hit Girl is my favorite too. I love her so much.
Nothing wrong with being a comic nerd, right? Right.

Woah, the view from the hotel looks sweet! Good to hear you had a nice time. Shame about school turning all against you, I had that a while ago. :( Then they just kinda gave up nearing standdown. :| haha. Ouch, 5 guys you don’t know and your boyfriend, that might be a tad awkward. :( I’d say I’d relate to this but most of Ben’s friends are mine too. D: xx

    Love, Annabelle
