Song: I’m Not Sorry – The Pigeon Detectives

Oh my, late for blogthings. Woe.

Been back at school this past week. I don’t know what the hardest part is, the realisation that homework and classes exist, having to put up with everyone raving on about their amazing holidays and realising yours was shit, or waking up every morning at 6:30. Probably the last one because I’ve been incredibly tired. But whatever. At least I can sleep again, and sleep is always a good thing.

I’m already sick of this year. Well, term. But its a 9 week term so thats cool. And after major exams in three weeks, I’ll have nothing to do in class. Well, save my art classes (because I don’t have exams for them). But I’m working to convince my teachers to just let us watch films. Like, in science its well established we’ll be watching X-Men (I finally have all the DVD’s now. I’m so so so happy about that). I’m working around on my other teachers. Don’t think they like me enough/are push overs enough to comply, though, pmsl.

What else? I had a dance-off on Friday. Well, it wasn’t like a dance-off dance-off, it was Christine & I trying to out-boy-band each other, pmsl. We ‘performed’ our dances twice and I won both times. Naturally. I dance like a menace *busts some killer daggy moves*. But yeah. That was the highlight of my week.

I’m getting back into sketching lately. Its strange, in a way. I mean, I didn’t think I could do it, sketch well, I mean. Not saying I’m amazing… just, these aren’t that bad. Like these of Bonnie Wright and these of Grint. They’re not all over the place. Its strange. I don’t know.

Nothing else interesting has happened. Which kind of sucks because I don’t know what to write now. I should be finally getting a tablet tomorrow. Which is cool. I can be artsy again. I’m also reading Alice in Wonderland now. Its taken me enough time to finally pick up a book again, pmsl.

You know what? Lets just stop trying. I’m going to end this blog now. Christ.

    Song: Want U – Lo-Fi Fnk

I have a Kit-Kat. I have no appetite to eat it. This is appalling.

So, here we find ourselves on Friday night (again) and we’re at home (again) and its slightly boring (again). This past week has basically been like that. I watched a lot of films. Saw Good, Boy in Striped Pyjamas (Don’t talk about that one. Still creeped out. Its not even creepy! Still, freaked me out), Hot Fuzz and Caddy Shack for the first time, as well as re-watching HP2, Driving Lessons and Galaxy Quest. There is probably more, just can’t remember. Wow, a lot of underlining. Ok. Moving on.

Yeah, no, watched a lot of films and rather pleased (got a lot seen that I wanted too). I still need to watch Cashback (Sean Biggerstaff ♥) but I’m a bit reluctant to because of the amount of boobs in the film (don’t want to rent it with parents). I also really want to finish Defiance but I swear to God, if I watch another WWII film, I’ll go psycho. Watched 3 in 2 weeks, 2 in 2 days (both with depressing endings). Fucking hell.

What else can I say about this slow week? All the days have merged together. By about Wednesday I believed it was Friday because I’d spent so much time doing the same thing. Didn’t go out at all. Not sure what I think of that, but I’m pretty sure I broke down at one point. I just don’t think I care any more.

I haven’t been sleeping well, actually. Tuesday night it took ages to fall asleep, and then I woke up in the middle of the night, but managed to sleep like normal. Wednesday night was really bad, I went to bed (finally) at about 12:45am, then woke up at 1:30, 2:20, 2:50, 4:10, 4:30, and then 6:30 (where I got to the point and was like ‘fuck this’ and got up). Last night wasn’t so bad, woke up once at 2:00 and got up at watched a Thai film about a transvestite boxer, and managed to sleep till 11:11am. I’m actually growing a bit anxious about going to sleep because I haven’t been sleeping well and hate waking up in the middle of the night (regardless how pretty my room looks – it gets this gorgeous blue shade). Oh well. What can I do, eh?

School starts up again in 2 days after today. I really don’t want to go back, but I kind of do because I figure if I get busy, I’ll sleep better. Besides, the way I’m like now is pretty sad. But then again, I don’t want to put up with major exams and then Formal… bloody formal. Anything about getting dressed up and having to put up with dates gets me in the shits because girls get so showy about it all.

    Ergh, fuck off highschool.

Song: Xtatic Truth (Xtra Loud Mix) – Crystal Fighters

I wish I could speak another language (namely Portuguese or Spanish). I’d be so much more sexier.

So Jess came and went. We had a very good time, actually. She came on Sunday, and we went to the city, I took her to Utopia which is like our version of Hot Topic, which she really enjoyed, and we then saw Inglorious Basterds (late, I know. I was surprised it was still in cinemas, actually). I actually proper enjoyed the film, Jess thought it was a little gorey (but this is Quentin Tarantino) but yeah, not too bad. Afterward, we rented out some DVDs (Interview with the Vampire & Becoming Jane). This wasn’t my first time seeing Interview, so it was fun re-watching it, and I’d only seen about half of Jane, so yeah. I liked both films (proper vampires & James McAvoy, what could go wrong?!). Afterwards we watched Order of the Phoenix because Jess couldn’t remember that film (honest! I actually wanted to watch Iron Man, but Potters cool too, pmsl). So yeah, 4 films in 1 day. 2 of which consisted of burning down theatres, pmsl.

The next day we just went out to the park a few blocks up, didn’t get much time because she had to leave pretty early, so her stay was quite short. But we still had loads of fun regardless, and it was really nice seeing her.

After Jess left, I had to drive down about 2 hours south to send my brother off to a football (soccer) camp. Car rides are a bit iffy, especially when Dad throws a tantrum trying to get lunch, and we were driving through a storm at one point, but it wasn’t all that bad. I’m probably one of the only people alive who don’t mind long car rides. But yeah, Jeremy came back yesterday, but I didn’t go pick him up (lazy is as lazy does).

What else? On Wednesday I went out with Christine & Shivani. We hung out at the mall a bit, I got an Empire magazine (Avatar! SO excited for that film) and some SHINY pins for my pinboard, and we then went back to Christine’s and played about with her keytar (she got a new Yamaha keytar. Its red. Its pretty cool). Then we went back to the mall & got some lunch, and yeah, came home. Not very exciting, but it was better than hanging around my house like I’ve been doing lately. Mind, I did go out today to try and get a new desk but Dad magically avoided actually getting me a desk like he has for the past 6 or so years so thats not happening. Did see a tablet though, so I’m planning to save up for that. Only need $100, which I find surprising, but yeah, COOL!

Also, just so we’re all clear, I hate Fridays. Cool. Bye.
