I kind of would rather not blog right now because I really want to play the Sims 3, but I know the second that game loads I will not exit until I sleep, and I ought to blog today, so here we are, with a hint of reluctance and the smallest amount of disdain.
What has been happening with me? The flu. Or is it a cold? I’m not sure. But I’ve been out of school for 4 (!!!) days, and on meds. Antibiotics are wonderful, wonderful things. Then again, I’ve always got some painkiller or antihistamine running through me. Yep, total druggie, I am. Hardcore. The works.
But yes, I’m getting better. I can stand up now (impossible on Wednesday, as was sitting up, didn’t manage to happen for long) and move and do things, and yep. Should be better soon. Better be better soon, its my birthday next Thursday! It was my brothers a few days ago, too (Wednesday), which was cool for him. He likes his birthday, and abuses it to make us do things for him, haha. I don’t think I’ll be that bad on my birthday, pmsl.
Anyway, being sick can have its advantages. Such as Fantastic 4 DVD’s. Yeah, I know, they’re not, y’know, amazing or whatever, but in my list of Marvel Stuff I Like, F4 are up there. And it was $13, for both films + features. That, my friends, is an amazing deal, seeing as they were also selling 1-disk films for the same price. I’ve also been watching my X-Men DVD’s (you have no idea how happy I was when I realised Bobby was from Animorphs. That show made my life as a kid) which are always a laugh. And a lot of HP.
Speaking of HP6, over the weekend my Mum’s friend from her high school came around for dinner. She brought her 13 year old daughter – who was actually cooler than I expected (she liked HP, we had similar views on stuff like Twilight… cool). I… don’t have much else to say, actually, pmsl, because it was Mum’s night, not mine.
I don’t have a lot more to talk about, really, seeing as all I’ve been doing is watching really bad TV (TMZ… ET… The Batchelorette). The cricket is back on tele! I’m very excited. Its the West Indies tour, and the first innings is still being played. I’m not going to bore you with cricket talk (loads of people I know hate the sport), but I’m excited its finally back on tele. After the 1-day internationals, no other cricket has really been on.
I’m so glad you all agree with me on awkward blog endings.

Moving along from my health issues, I got this bad boy on Tuesday. It actually came out this Wednesday, but I got it early because I pre-ordered it. Mum also pre-ordered me the Ultimate Collectors Editions for films 1 & 2, which comes out (in Australia) on Dec. 2, a day before my birthday, so its all perfect. Australia has actually had it pretty good, we get the HBP DVD like, 20 days earlier than the US, and the collectors editions a week and a bit, I think. Moving on, the DVD is so good. I forgot how much I loved this film. GOD Rupert, Tom & Frank Dillane (teen Voldemort) kill me. Oh and Hero Tiffin-Fiennes (young Voldey), but not in a ‘oh you so sexy’ way (that’s gross, the kid’s 12!), but in a ‘oh my you so awesome I want to be your friend’ kind of way. I’ve actually said on several accounts that I’d like to be friends with him. I get along well with kids that age (my brother is, see, so its not like I go about making friends with 12 year olds, pmsl). But whatever, thats just one part of the DVD. The features this time are amazing. I still think the features on HP4 were great (had a lot of a more BTS part), but these are really great because they feature a lot of the younger/teen cast doing things, which is quite fun. I love Matt Lewis (Neville), especially the bit he hosted with Alfie Enoch (Dean Thomas). If you get your hands on it (not until the 8th of Dec in the US/UK, I believe), make sure you watch them!
Anyway, I have finished my exams. Had 5 exams over 3 days, and they weren’t that bad. Really, the SC is kind of a joke and doesn’t mean anything if you continue school (which I am). But you had to do them, which I did, and its cool. We’ve also been finishing up year projects and getting lots of marks back. To the right are screencaps from my friends Michelle and Harriet’s documentary in Digital Media. Their documentary was actually a mockumentary about ‘Americas Next Top Model’, set in our school. I was like, one of the final 4 or something. I got the DVD the other day, and its proper funny (ignoring my parts). And if you’re wondering, my documentary was about video games. It was cool, but haven’t got that DVD yet (funnily enough).
