    Lillian – +44

It was pointed out that I’m becoming a slack blogger; although life has been hectic so I apologise. Its crazy how when one week throws you, it snowballs into a few weeks. Though I should be fine now; I’m on spring break for the next two weeks.

Last we left, exams had finished. In terms of those, I got art & geography results back already (95% & 94% respectively), and should get the rest once I’m back at school. The three days following exams were the most adored days; Wednesday I finally got a chance to play Sims more & work on re-building my computer (after the Great Virus ’10), Thursday afternoon was spent with Dillan watching Cherrbomb and drinking Easy Way. Friday sucked ass cos I managed to catch Dad’s flu/cold thing, so I was dying basically, on SO MANY meds. I had to persevere, though, because Social was in a few days and I would not be sick for that. So Saturday, little drugged-up me went shopping for final bits & pieces (shoes, etc) – I should be bloody rewarded for that effort, it was such a tough day. Sunday I would have blogged, but that afternoon/evening I went with Dillan to meet his extended family (uncles, cousins, etc). That was… bloody hell. It’s a pretty big thing for me, because I never meet any of my friends’ families, so. But they were nice and apparently they liked me, which was good. I have no idea if I’ll ever get Dillan to meet my family (only because my family hardly gather, as you may have been able to tell) so who knows!

Anyway, Monday night was Social. Spent the morning bumming about, Dillan came around in the afternoon & once I was dressed, etc, we went over to Stacey’s (mainly to dump my stuff). We all (there were heaps of us; Stacey, Blake, Fletcher, Jarryd, Grant, Maddie, Emma, Stella, Loretta, Harry, Yasmin, Daniel Dillan and I) caught trains/busses to the warf, considering out social was on a boat. Saw everyone at the warf, heaps of ‘oh you look nice / so do you‘ bullshit but y’know how it is with these things. Got on the boat, everyone did their own thing. It was nice, the boat toured around Sydney Harbour, spent most of my night with Dillan, Loretta, Harry, Yasmin and occasionally Daniel. It was nice being able to see a lot of people, such as the boys from camp & meet a lot of people that everyone seems to know that I never met. It was quite cool how the boat had 3 levels, if you wanted to dance you could go to that level (naturally Dillan and I didn’t, like, at all, lmao), if you wanted to eat there was that level, or you could chill up on the roof (which is where we spent most of the night making endless dougong jokes about Lo). There were obviously downsides to the night (cold, bit hard to hear/see people sometimes) but in all it was really nice and brilliantly organised (Eleanor, a girl in our grade, did it all. She’s amazing). After the boat party, a bunch of us naturally went to McDonalds (there was a shortage of food, see) & then we (Stacey, Blake, Maddie, Fletcher, Grant, Stella, Dillan and I) went back to Stacey’s. We legit spent 2 hours trying to erect this massive tent, in the end we all gave up and watched Grant and Dillan build it. By the time that was done and we were all settled, it was like 4am or something, so we all went in that tent and slept (hardcore, right?). Left at about 10 the next/that morning and just attempted to catch up on life that Tuesday. That tent party though was brilliant, Stella kept us all entertained and I think it was especially great because everyone got along well and it was just us and noone being annoying and it was just great; in a lot of ways probably better than the social itself.

The few days after that were a mix of going to school (Wednesday & Thursday – so incredibly boring because A) hardly anyone turned up and B) our year 11 course has finished so they’re legally not allowed to teach us at all) and chilling at Dillan’s. Meant I finally saw Zombieland which I loved – can’t believe it took me this long to see it. Saturday came around again, and Dillan and I maintained our Saturday habits by shopping for magazines (NO and Russh [which I've already read lmao]) as well as buying Jess’ birthday gift, and seeing Despicable Me which was surprisingly alright, even if that is no where near my usual kind of film (Review). It was a nice day, mainly too because I think Dillan & I’s relationship is kind of maturing & evolving. Lately there’s been a bit of change which has been a bit of a challenge but I guess we’re stronger for it now. But yeah, Sunday (today) has actually been epic. Dad actually finished building my temporary shelves, so I’ve sort of re-organised my room. I don’t know how well you can see by LORD those two extra landings were needed. I have a lot more desk space now which is brilliant.

But yeah, life hasn’t really ever slowed down. And now I’m on break, so its going to be good I hope. Next time I return to school I’ll be in year 12, meaning it’ll be my last year of highschool. Life is fucking mental.

Fucking Die 2 (€€ Cooper Mix) – Skrillex

So, finally, after much pain and torture, my exams are over and I have a lovely 5 day weekend ahead of me. Now, I don’t even know where to start explaining the two weeks I’ve been absent.

I guess I should start where I left off. From the 30th-2nd, I started studying. Hardcore-like. Drove me insane. Was all good, though, because that Friday (3rd), well, it was good. Started by seeing Dillan before his work (first time that week, mind), which was nice, then met up with Stella, Stacey and Maddie to go to the beach with a bunch of people we met at camp. We managed to catch up with Max, AJ, Hugh and Michael, as well as a few extras (Michael’s girlfriend and her friend, Jake (Maddie’s boyfriend) and a few of Stacey’s “friends”). Basically, a few of them (Hugh & AJ) do this fire-spinning thing, and a whole punch of people they knew organised this day at the beach to just have fun with fire & that – it was actually a really cool to watch them. And Michael’s this photographer kid so the shots he took were really awesome (evidently, haha). The night itself was alright, hung out mainly with Maddie and Jake, but it was alright cos they didn’t make me too much of the 3rd wheel.

Anyway, after a good night, saw Dillan the day after. We finally saw Salt (reviewed here) which I personally adored. We didn’t do much else that day, ran around the city looking at newsagencies and I looked for a beanie because my hair was horrible but apparently you can’t buy them anymore, the stupid things. Other than that, though, I also remember eating an obtuse amount, and nearly running into this fella in the city. As in literally running into him. Weird, eh?

The next day, Sunday, was basically living hell. Tyler, my desktop computer, got a fatal virus. We’ve had to re-install a backup of my computer from January, so basically all my files from this year are gone. Which sucks A LOT. I’m lucky in having a few days to rest and try get him back to normal, I was lucky with things like music or school files because they were all on my laptop. Without that, I’d be STUFFED. But yeah, the ‘Great Virus ’10 has definitely muddled a lot of things up.

Anyway, after that weekend it was back to studying. And then exams commenced on the 8th. Modern History and Art theory that day, English the day after, Geography the day after that. They all went relativity well, results will show. It was incredibly depressing, all the exams, but the flexible attendance was nice.

But that’s all boring talk, right? We want to know about my weekend! Well, Saturday. Basically, remember Jess? She came up to visit again, this time bringing her friends Dani and Tom. So we met; Dani, Dani’s cousin Justin, Tom, Jess, Dillan (Jess wanted to meet him, lmao) and myself, and hung out in the city loads. The best thing about when Jess comes up is that we end up going to all these places I’d never normally consider going to, finding all these cool things, like this book store which was legit overflowing with books. It was insane. But no, I really loved seeing Jess again, and meeting a few of her friends – apparently they’ve all heard about me & want to meet me and stuff, its awesome.

But yeah, we ended up in the city centre (where Dillan and I usually go on our weekends anyway), I finally found a DVD copy of Let The Right One In which I basically was forced by the world to buy, which I’ll hopefully watch soon. After Jess & co left, Dillan and I stuck back, bought magazines, and saw The Other Guys (review; here) which was a nice way to tie the day together.

But yes, after all that, back to exams (Maths on Monday, Software today (Tuesday)), and now that exams are over, back to trying to restore Tyler and get some things done, like blog & update here. My step-grandfather went into hospital (he has bowel caner) yesterday, we’re going to visit him later in the afternoon. And then relax! Can’t wait!

Just a quick word to say that I’m currently in the middle of my end-of-grade exam block (3/6 exams done!), heaps of things have been going on & I’ve been very very busy so I’m sorry for not blogging on Sunday like I usually do.

I finish exams on Tuesday. After that I have 3 days off so expect some sort of mega-post as to everything that’s been going on. I’ll return comments & everything then, too. It’ll be all good.

    Until then ! x
