Silvia 2 Ibiza (Myndset Mashup) – SHM vs. Miike Snow

Over this past week I’ve tried so hard not to stress but it seems impossible. Today has been entirely devoted to doing Visual Arts coursework and seriously, its such a bitch. I’m one of the lucky ones who managed to do some progressively, so I feel so so so sorry for those who left it all to this weekend.

On Thursday my geography class went on a school trip the the Blue Mountains. It was beyond fun; our tour guide Darren was ever so charming, our class works so well, we got to do a lot of really awesome things (ride the steepest vertical rail way in the world – which I will admit freaked me to hell) and eat some pretty nice food and it was just a really good day.

Other weekly highlights include seeing Due Date (there isn’t a world in which Robert Downey Jnr is unattractive), Loretta’s birthday on Monday, Jeremy’s (my brother) birthday on Thursday andddd… yeah really, that’s it.

Also, any Australians tried the new V Iced Coffee? I don’t know if I like it or not… seems not strong enough.

But anyway, this coming week will be hell. Study study study and my birthday… 17, the year of telling the truth (according to Maxxie (Skins)). Yeah dreading my birthday already. FUN ! haha

O’Children – Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds [Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Pt1 Soundtrack]

Yeah, if anyone knows me they know that Harry Potter has consumed my week. I had to wait until Saturday to see it, but it was worth the 2 day wait. Its so hard to express my feelings toward this film, but I reviewed it here. So that’s where I stand. I remember during the previews I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to see this’ – and to be honest I didn’t – I don’t want Harry Potter to end.

But anyway, before I get all sentimental. The week has been a mix of study for English, working on Art, and being hyped for Potter. I also even managed to type up reviews of all the films I’ve missed at school but naturally I didn’t save it to my USB so as soon as I can get that file, I’ll put them online. I ought to work more on those reviews because I watch a lot of films, but we’ll see. Maybe over the summer.

Other than that, my brother’s birthday this week, and mine the week after. Heaps of things have happened with the family lately – I guess you could say they’re good things despite my personal view – but I’m not going to go into too much detail too early. Basically all I can say is that everything’s going to change.

Also my finger is bending weird again. Jesus.

Also also, my laptop Spike exploded. I might have to bury him. He was always my favourite laptop. Thank god I have my other PC Tyler, though.

    Stolen – Dashboard Confessional

The past week has been so crazy. ASOS things that I ordered a month ago [finally] arrived (they’re so lovely; black maxi skirt, sweatshirt dress, grey jersey maxi dress, grey t-shirt & waist belt), received my school report which was (mostly) really good, had a lot of drama but the week’s over, I guess. Saturday I saw Wild Target with Dillan (I really enjoyed it, mainly because Rupert really does stand out as an actor in this film, but I guess I’ll review it soon), then bought Harry Potter Film Wizardry as part of my birthday gift (next month) which is actually amazing. I’ve been doing heaps of course work today, mainly on Aboriginal Art which could be more interesting, but what can you do? From now on there isn’t a week where I don’t have an assessment task until the end of the school year (17th December… so far away!) which is rather scary but that’s what you get for the last year of high school.

Ah well, at least Deathly Hallows is out this week! It really feels sudden in comparison to the massive wait for Half Blood Prince but BOY am I excited. Re-reading the book, too. Good move on my part. Can’t wait!
