    Zomby – Pillz

This is my last week of Summer. Tomorrow I’m back at school, aiming at completing my final year of high school. By September, I’ll be a graduate. By November, no more high school exams ever. Next January, I’ll (hopefully) be accepted into University. And to think, I’ve known some of the same bloggers than I did when I first started highschool.

This week hasn’t been all that much. Wednesday, Australia Day, I went with my family to some family friends – one of which is also a teacher at my school. Luckily she’s only had my class once (don’t remember it though), and she teaches Science, which I don’t take. So not too awkward. But yeah, that’s really the only time I went out. Naturally I was meant to be out this weekend, but out of lack of organisation, and my annoying headcold (yeah, thanks Dad for that), neither plans happened. But its ok, I should be in fine health by tomorrow morning, and if not… well, we’ll get to that.

Big thing this week though; the new Skins! (Spoiler warning) To be honest, I liked it. I have no bias in terms of generations, so a new cast was interesting. It does seem a bit clique-y, but regardless, it was an interesting take because in previous Skins, things like Facebook (or Friendlook, either way) weren’t prominent. But I really liked Frankie, she’s actually gorgeous and I adore her style, and I’d love to see more of Matty (the gun guy – although you never found out his name [thanks E4!]). Rick also seems cool, and he is technically supposed to be the guy I like, but he’s just lacking to me. I don’t know why. Oh well, Matty will be mine to love forever.

Anyway, I guess this past week of bumming around, watching films, playing Sims, downloading heaps of music & building fanlistings turned out to be a good way to spend the week. There was a big party last night that I wasn’t invited to (I hardly know the guy, so I’m not resentful) which I’m sure I’ll hear all about tomorrow. At least its the last week without Dillan.

Radar Detector (Xaphoon Jones Remix) – Darwin Deez

This week was actually fun AND productive. The days that I stayed at home, I cleaned out my draws in my room, my wardrobe… just threw out SO MUCH junk. Even re-did my pinboard. Saved a bunch of stuff for shits & giggles for when I’m older, but hopefully things’ll be more organised now.

When I was out, it was pretty ace. Wednesday night I saw The Tourist with Victoria; we chilled out in the mall a bit, catching up and stuff. It was lovely. Thursday, met up with Stacey, Maddie, Stella and Rhiana (Stacey’s cousin) & saw Burlesque (review when I can be bothered), then chilled back at hers watching crappy MTV & talking supernatural shit with Grant. Sunday – and this is why this blog is coming a day late – I went into the city with Naomi. Chilled out a bit, watched a beautiful band busk; they’re called Set Sail & you can see their FB here – they’re worth it, seriously. Anyway, went back to hers, met up with her friends (Anna, Daniel, Victor & Luke), played board games, chilled in parks, etc etc. Naomi, Victor & I pulled an all nighter, which naturally lead to us drawing ridiculous make-up on Victor. Poor boy, poor poor boy.

But yes, as you can tell I’ve collected a bunch of belongings this week too; i-D, some bracelets, some lipstick & these Chanel rip sunglasses which I love and feel about 10 years older in. So yeah, good week. Only 1 more week until school starts, and 2 weeks before Dillan returns. Should be good.

My Friends – Red Hot Chili Peppers

I haven’t done much this week. Monday I went out with Melanie to the city, we bought all these different Mountain Dews to try – keeping in mind that here, different Mountain Dew flavours are really rare. And then today, Melanie & Christine came over to make a Harry Potter packet cake we found at the store – it was REALLY nice I’m rather proud. We also watched the original Tron while eating it – that movie is so bizarre to watch now, haha.

Besides those two days, I mainly chilled at home on my own. Did some sketching (as you can see, haha), reading, and watching crappy TV. Also helped out the lovely Ben with his layout, so be sure to head over there and share some love!

As you can tell, boring week. S’all good, though, its been horrible weather so I’ve been able to marinate in the benefits of air conditioning, haha.

2 weeks until school. Time to get cracking, I guess.
