    Gravity/Grace – Crime in Stereo

So blogging this year is a bit of a struggle. I’m back at school now, finished the first week with what seems like very little achieved, despite the piles and piles of notes I’ve been making. There’s been a few hickups with my art major work which has been stressing me out beyond anything imaginable, but hopefully this time next week everything will be ok.

The end of holidays was a bit of a mix of good and bad. Spent even more time at Chrystal’s place, and at Lily’s gathering (which is what the photos from above are from) which was alright. Returning to school from these holidays has been a bit interesting because I’ve changed the people I spent lunch with now. You know how I’ve been spending time with the ‘old’ crowd? I’ve come to the point where I just spend school time with them too, especially since I pretty much live with Harriet or Chrystal.

So yeah, wee bit of high school drama lately. Kind of funny how its senior year, so you focus so much on school and grades that drama just seems so forgotten and irrelevant, and then it happens and you feel 14 again.

Anyhow. Also saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 2 last week. Anyone who’s known me for a while will get that its kind of significant to my life. Not that I’ve gotten all ‘end of an era’/'end of childhood’ about it (because its not), but the last instalment just completes a little part of the world, y’know? I think it was a fairly decent film, but I need to watch it again before I make a judgement. I always need to watch HP twice – once to enjoy, once to compare to book/analyse. But who knows if I’ll have time.

This is fairly wordy, wordier than my blogs have been as of late. Perhaps is the fact that I’m writing 1000+ words in 30 minutes, but either way. Hope everyone’s enjoying their week!

    Half a Life – Bayside

First week of the holidays? Oh yes.

End of term could not have come sooner. Rung in the holidays at dinner with Tiffany and Sophia (woodfire pizza ♥), and spent the weekend either sleeping or studying. Studying does not stop if you’re a senior, regardless of break, had to find that out the hard way. Monday I even had to go back into school to work on my art major work, but thats done now and all I need to do it print it off. Should be good at the exhibition in 4 weeks.

The past few days have been great, though. Tuesday was spent with Luke and then with Clinton and Samantha, Wednesday went to the city with Chrystal and Harriet (and ran into about 10 000 people), Thursday had a cute movie date with Chrystal (watched Ghost House and Across the Universe) and Friday had a cute library & lunch date with Victoria (and a bit of Clinton and Samantha in there).

Friday night had a bit of a gathering at Chrystals. Was really nice because it was full of the old friends that I did mention spending time with before, but seeing as it was the second time around these guys it was a little less awkward and a really fun night. Got to see Luke and the boys too, so that was good fun. Although I did get my face bruised, which was a bummer. Luckily nothing too bad because the next night was Belle’s 18th, which was just a girls version of the night before, and was rather nice.

So yeah, busy. But balanced between school and stuff. I like this routine, I wish I had longer than another week remaining. Woe.
