    Oceans – Sonny Moore

Ola from my laptop! I never blog from this thing but because my main computer is having some issues right now, we’re resulted to this today.

With school back in full swing, things have become a lot more… cruisy. We do very little. I have ended up the head of the yearbook committee (something I didn’t even know existed in Australia) which is a bit fun. But yeah, its all winding down now.

Yesterday was the most adorable day I have had in such a long time. My friend Chrystal and I decided to go on a bit of a date; we went to some university open days to check out a few courses I’m interested in (the one’s Chrystal wants are in another city), then decided to go to the markets near by. Bought some shorts for $40 but I can’t fit in them so I have NO clue what to do. Decided to troll shops for a bit, had a bit of a sit in the sunset too. Went for dinner at a vegetarian restaurant and bought the most amazing frappes and risotto in the world. It was possibly the cutest date that I’ve ever been on – men should take note. AND it’s been AGES since I’ve had a day out so it was probably the best day I can think of for a long time.

Besides those shenanigans, not much else has been the go. Life is just busy, y’know? Going to uni open days and finishing high school in 3 weeks… I’ve never felt so old.

    Teenage Crime – Adrian Lux

The photos above are from about a week ago. You may remember how I had my art presentation night, last week my friend Clinton had his school night, inclusive of both drama and visual work showcases. Clinton’s work is the top left, and bottom right. It was a fairly decent night in all, spend my time with Samantha, Clinton, Jenny and Vincent. It was a nice way to break up my trial exams.

Those exams are now over and back to normal school (which is incredibly cruisey until we get results back). Its basically been a bit catch-up these past couple of days because exams felt like holidays in terms of how often I saw everyone. Its kind of weird because there’s a sense of gossip back, now that every assessment is over and we’re nearly graduating, gossip is back. I don’t know. Personal life is just a bit all over the shot, y’know?

My hair is all over the shot, too. I’ve dyed it bright ginger twice now, but its still a dark murkey red. I don’t like it very much – its no where near as lovely as the photo suggests – but y’know. Not much I can do about it.

Anyhow. To add to graduation stress, teenage stress, and body image stress is family stress with my step-grandfather’s health. So basically a massive anxiety-ridden few days. But y’know, lets hope I can channel it into productivity.

Before I end this kind of weirdly-written blog; do any of you guys still use the visitor resources that are left up here? Thinking of taking them down because I don’t really update it and its kind of a waste.

Hold Music – Architecture in Helsinki

My week & a bit in a snap shot:

      1. Woke up this morning, went to Chrystal’s place looking like this.
      2. Tried to re-dye blonde to be less yellow, but remained yellow.
      3. Tried toner… went grey.
      4. Decided on a “mahogany”
      5. A sketch I did some point last week
      6. Pile of textbooks/notes/whatever that have been living on my printer
      7. Decided to change my environment and write a few essays in the park – worked well until the rain
      8. New jumper!
      9. The greatest apple juice you’ll ever have – yes its a triangular bottle
      10. Two new art books (which I use for study, but love anyway); one on Ron Mueck and Teach Yourself Art History

I promise to get back to comments/whatever when trial exams end. I have two more this week, the others have been going well. Hope you guys have been well too !
