For All We Know – Chunk! NO Captain Chunk!

So, that’s my brother and mother. I am so proud that when Dad wanted to take a photo of us sitting together, we all did these poses without arranging it.

Christmas was ok. Gift wise, this year we’re celebrating money! I did get The Tourist on DVD though, so there’s a bit of fun. For Christmas we went to my Uncle’s place for Christmas Lunch (seeing as its Summer for Christmas here, the norm is to have a barbecue lunch with cold meats and seafood), and for the first time in years the whole of Mum’s family were together. I can’t express how rare that is. So y’know, it was all right. For Boxing Day we had another barbecue at our place, this time for family friends. So it’s been full on with the guests and family friends and family and such. It feels like I haven’t seen my own friends for so long, even though I was with them on Friday.

Ahh well, it’s all coming to an end now. Tell me about your holiday season though!!

Carry the Banner – The Flatliners

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while – and I mean a while – you may recall that a while ago a friend of mine had to move to Spain. That was last August, and a lot for her has changed. The point being, however, is that for the Holiday season, she’s come back to Australia with her boyfriend and sister, so the other day we had a barbeque (typically Australian) to bring the gang together and see her again. It was nice, she’s still the same which is kind of funny. The night turned interesting too with failed trips to the City and other shenanigans, but y’know, all fun and games.

Christmas is sneaky soon, too. We got HSC exam results back this week as well and I did well enough! I’m pleased so hopefully university will want me! In the mean time I’ll be home all day playing the Sims and trying to recover from a horrible Summer cold. Life is a cruel mistress.

Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo – Bloodhound Gang

Being home from the coast has actually been not as bad as I expected. Y’know that post holiday depression, being so used to living without parents and then BAM back at home? The first few days sucked, but it’s been good.

Now that I’m 18 I’m finally able to star going out clubbing/bar hopping/whatever you want to call it. Been to a few places these past few days and it’s been really fun, surprisingly became better friends with people I was only vaguely friends with before. Meeting new people out is always interesting, too. It’s basically been a complete change from everything I’d been used to, actually acting old.

Ah well, things have been fun. Changed my hair once again, as you can see. Though HSC results come out tomorrow. And then university applications will come through. And then work has been hell. Swings and roundabouts, really.
