By the Way (Elefo dubstep remix) – Red Hot Chili Peppers
I don’t think I’ve ever shown you guys my brother. That’s him with me, being the little charming fella he is. Love him.
This week has been governed by the surprise arrival of a new addition to my family. By that I mean my new laptop, Marcel Alexander. He’s named after my favourite model (Marcel Castenmiller) and one of my favourite designers (Alexander Wang); I couldn’t choose between either name so I did both. Spoiling the guy already. But he’s actually a really really really good laptop, the specs are to die for. I am so lucky.
Other than that, study study study. Next week is the last week before our Autumn break, we’ll get nearly 3 weeks off. One more maths exam Wednesday and I’m done! I am so ready for holidays. Its also weird to think that these holidays mark me being half way through the final year of highschool.
Other than that, its been an interesting weekend. I was planning on dedicating it in its entirety to studying maths, butttttt didn’t work out that way. Friday night Luke wanted to do something so we planned on going to Max’s gridiron game (yep, in Australia) but ended up at Stella’s all night. Saturday night Stacey wanted to so something, so I went to hers & then went out with some of her mates. They… were interesting characters, so naturally didn’t spend a lot of time with them, Stacey & I stuck to our own eating gelato (tiramasu flavour = best thing). Today, well actually today mostly ran to plan, though I did run into Luke up the store too. But yeah, none of this weekend was planned, yet I did more than I usually do. I think maybe I should not plan anything anymore & just do things.
So yeah. Everything continues to go really well. Oh yeah, check out the badass lanterns I bought! They’re patterned with the world map, I’m such a geography nerd !

This weekend was cool, though. Saturday was spent sort-of in honour of Dillan’s birthday (its this Thursday, but I’m not going to be able to see him then, so we’re doing things now), so we saw The Losers (it only just came out over here). It was kind of weird because it was in the same theatre as Robin Hood last week, and around the same session time. Yeah, we’re becoming regulars now. But the film was good, a good laugh and a lot of guns & stuff – the things I love about film. It was kind of like Tropic Thunder in a lot of ways, but without the genius of Robert Downey Jnr. But we did get Chris Evans so that’s cool. He’s fit. After we kind of maintained our city-dwelling habits, went to the news agency we go to every week, went and got Mountain Dew from the same place (this week we got Code Red though, they were out of Voltage. I swear, Code Red is HORRIBLE stuff). We also went to a comic book store, though. I swear, it was SO HARD not to buy an Iron Man bobble head. But yeah, good day. I always have good days with Dillan.
